Established in 2012, the Sara Corning Centre for Genocide Education is dedicated to disseminating human rights- and genocide-related research to elementary and secondary school students. It is our conviction that human rights education is effective in ensuring that Canadian students become engaged in civic life, advocate for their own rights and those of others, and remain aware of the consequences of discrimination.

Our work focuses on developing Lesson Plans for teachers and giving live and virtual In-Class Presentations. We also curate Reference Materials and maintain a list of Links to organizations like ours.

Thoughts or suggestions? You’re welcome to write to us. We’d love to hear from you!
